It’s time to give the traditional red & green combo a year off. We partnered with Ashley Rose, founder of @SugarandCloth, to show us how to tap into a more natural escape this season with a woodland-inspired mantle. Featuring a neutral color palette and organic textures, this simplistic, yet sophisticated design can be recreated following these few tips:
Ashley Rose keeps her woodland design classy, and not chaotic, by sticking to one evergreen tree motif.
Add depth by creating thoughtful clusters, not lines. Layer objects with varying heights and snake in garland, such as a wooden bead strand, to create natural groupings.
Utilize wire lights and a variety of candles for a festive sparkle and touch of warmth.
Toast to your creation with a tropical cocktail, like this RumHaven & Cranberry combo.
1 ½ oz. RumHaven
2 oz. Cranberry Juice (Ashley used diet cranberry)
Squeeze of fresh lime
Add ingredients to a shaker filled with ice and shake. Strain into a coup glass and garnish with rosemary and cranberry.
