Haven at Home

Share This Blog:

Real facts: everyone needs an at-home escape. It doesn’t have to be big, expensive or time-consuming — just a break from the norm that helps you forget about the to-do list (or hey, maybe check a few things off it like @PrettyinthePines, below).

We partnered with three pros in the art of discovering your haven: @HannahG11, @PrettyinthePines and @Bun_Undone, for some cocktails and conversation on how they create their Haven at Home. Check out their go-to’s below!

Happy Hour with @HannahG11

You may recognize Hannah G from The Bachelor and Bachelor in Paradise, but her friends know her as the ultimate virtual happy hour host.

To recharge at the end of the week, Hannah G likes to take time catching up with friends.  The secret to making a virtual happy hour as memorable as the real thing? It’s all about the finishing touches, like swapping the easy glass of wine for a fun (yet equally simple) tropical cocktail.

Jungle Bird

2 oz. RumHaven
¾ oz. Italian Aperitivo
2 oz. Pineapple Juice
¼ oz. Simple Syrup
¼ oz. Fresh Lime Juice

Add ingredients into an ice-filled shaker, and shake together. Strain into an ice-filled double rocks glass.

Beautifying your Space with @PrettyinthePines

Decorator and cozy-style icon, Shelby of @PrettyinthePines, is all about taking some me-time to start your week on the right note. Her method of choice: organizing her closet! According to Shelby, “When my closet’s cluttered, my brain is cluttered.” Follow her three simple tips to making organizing a snap:

Save Space:

Opt for a hanging shoe rack and use double-sided gel tape to keep earrings together on the wall! Both will help reduce the amount of clutter in the closet.

Use drawer dividers, cubbies and baskets to give every clothing article and accessory a home.

Make it fun:

Self-care shouldn’t feel like a chore! Add a cocktail to help make your organization an event to look forward to.

Turning your Patio into Paradise with @Bun_Undone

Our suitcases may be collecting dust, but Morgan of @Bun_Undone knows a quick way to escape to the tropics: by creating an oasis in your own outdoor space. As a wellness and health expert, she understands the importance of having a place to unwind.

Simply bring in some palm fronds (real or paper!), twinkle lights and tropical flowers to add a little summer magic. Then top it off with a  RumHaven cocktail featuring fun accessories, like a mini umbrella and reusable straw!

Haven on Earth

2 oz. RumHaven
2 oz. Pineapple Juice
2 oz. Club Soda

Add ingredients into an ice-filled Collins glass, and stir together to combine and chill.
